Les chérubins du bonheur
Les Chérubins du bonheur conveys the divine beauty, only found in the transcending aspect of religion. François Boucher was my main source of inspiration. His iconic rococo cherub paintings looks so dreamy and classic, like a picture from Heaven.

Galanterie chérubine
Galanterie chérubine is a portrait that evokes the theme of love. It was during Valentine’s Day and the message was that there is an angel looking over you no matter what.
Illumination divine, April-May 2024, Charlotte Gouny
Illumination divine
In Illumination divine, I wanted to convey the notion ‘seeing beauty in everyday life’. I went back to my original muse Marie-Antoinette, and mixed religious theme with a more regal one. In my work, I always try to open a window to another world, an idealised world, like a window to Heaven.
Anges pleins de bonté
Anges pleins de bonté, July 2024
In this piece, I conveyed the subtle beauty in everyday life. As usual, I was inspired by 18th century French paintings.
It was a little experiment for stitching flowers. I wanted to use fewer elements and focus on getting the composition right. I also introduced goldwork to my practice.
